Attend class on November 10 to listen to our first guest speaker, Dr. Tom Williams, on “AR in Human-Robot Interaction”.
In this talk I will discuss the ways that Augmented Reality is being used in the Human-Robot Interaction community. I will then discuss how our lab is specifically using AR technologies to enhance the nonverbal capabilities of interactive robots. Finally, I will discuss the ways that AR can be used as a scientific tool for increasing experimental control in Human-Robot Interaction experiments.
Choose to do one of the following:
- Ask a question in class. Submit the question and the speaker’s answer.
- Or, submit a summary of his talk, covering the main points he made and your thoughts on where this technology is going in the future.
